The Hillside School employs full-time certified classroom teachers, two guidance counselors, a speech and language therapist, a technology/media specialist, an arts teacher and a physical education teacher.
Professional staff members continue to study teaching practices and current research regarding children with learning disabilities. Teachers with two or more years of experience at The Hillside School further their professional development by participating in a peer-coaching program. Hillside teachers comply with all the Pennsylvania certification requirements including Pennsylvania’s Act 48.
