  • Admission Process

    At The Hillside School a student’s success is our first consideration.  The admission process adheres to the “goodness of fit” principle.  Our purpose is to provide students with learning differences the learning tools necessary to make a successful transition to other academic settings. Applications are accepted throughout the year. A visit to The Hillside School is the first step in helping parents determine whether the school is a good fit for their child.  Application Process: Complete the Application for Admission.  Return it to The Hillside School with a check for $265 ($65 application processing fee + $200 registration fee).  Additional fees are assessed for offsite observation or more extensive testing. Include copies of any outside evaluations that have been completed on your child. The Admission Committee will review the application and any supporting materials. A visit will be scheduled for your child for the purpose of math and reading placement testing. The Admission Committee will meet to review all the information obtained during the admission process. Parents will receive telephone and written notification of the school's decision regarding acceptance. Attendance at The Hillside School Summer Academy is sometimes required to determine whether our program is a good fit for an individual child.

  • Tuition and Financial Aid

    Tuition for the 2011-2012 school year is $18,100 which includes books and supplies. Field trips are not included. The Hillside School believes every child deserves the opportunity for a Hillside education. read more...
